TD, a leading travel trade news agency, aims to inspire more women (and men) in the travel industry with features highlighting the incredible stories of women in travel who are successful in their own right – from prodigious top executives who ascended the competitive corporate ladder to extraordinary women at the grassroots level.
We know women in the travel industry whom we admire and feel inspired by. Perhaps it is someone who has succeeded against all odds, someone whose courage defied biases or whose entrepreneurial spirit made the impossible possible.
We have heard and rejoiced the stories of incredible women in travel through the IWTA (Inspiring Women in Travel Asia) Series. Now, it is time to raise our glasses and honour them in a night of glamour at the inaugural TD IWTA Awards.
TD IWTA Awards celebrates inspiring women in different sectors of travel who have made a significant impact in the workplace or community. It also recognises companies that are safe workplaces for women that foster a respectful, equal-opportunity environment.
